Arthur C. “Butch” Giessman (1949-2020)

Butch was a great friend to many and loved by those who knew him. While his hockey playing days did not last past grade school, he supported his son and grandsons in the stands and supported youth hockey by donations to the 47 Fund.

Butch was a big believer in giving back to the community and was a long time board member of Wings of Hope, as well as several military veteran support charities. Butch generously gave his time, treasure and talent to the organizations that he cared about.

His spirit of kindness, generosity, service, and community involvement will live on in our hearts and the scholarship that bears his name.
